Drum rolls, the new Femme Fatale collection will be available for presale next week. This new 8-pieces collection is inspired by the classic novel Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery, of whom I have never personally heard (but again reading was not really my thing when I was younger). The launch of the Green Gables Collection will be April 1st – 5th 2018 at 9am AEST. All shades are regular release, no limited editions, meaning they will be available for several pre-sales and at stockists whom wish to pick them up (you can find a list of all stockists on the FFC website)
White Way of Delight is an off-white crelly with a soft copper glow, and white and silver holographic glitters of various sizes and holographic particles. It is pretty sheer, but also very packed with glitter, so applying thin layer is the way to go (I did 2 thin and the last one thicker). it also has a rough finish, so top coat is required. But I can never say not to a white polish, especially with a copper glow!
A Kindred Spirit is a cool-tone dusty-rose pink with blue glow and holographic particles. This is a very cool nude shade with a twist. It is on the sheer side but opaque in 3 coats. The blue glow give this polish dimension, even though it is a more muted shade (compared to the rest of the collection).
My Lifelong Sorrow is a pale champagne pink with golden glow (warm) through to a bolder orange with golden glow (cold). It is a bit sheer in the warm state, so 3 coats are better, but it is still fairly opaque. The cold state color is really super bright, but the natural transition is pretty smooth giving a pretty cool ombre nails looks (like on the fist picture). Remember to extend your shelf life on thermals, store them well sealed in a cool, dark location.
Lake of Shining Waters is a vibrant bright blue packed with a green-gold shifting shimmer and scattered holographic particles. It was opaque in 2 coats but beware you need a thick coat of base, or at least 2 thin coat, because this one is a stainer (it started staining my nails and I only wore it for like 10 min, but I wore it without a base so thi sis kind of my fault). Though it is definitely worth it, the shimmer is really incredible!
Currant Wine is a berry crème with blue glow. It is quite opaque and dry semi-matte (if you prefer a glossy look go for top coat). It is a very vampy shade, but still very bright because the the blue glow, with sparkle under the light.
Trees Talking in Their Sleep is a soft brown (cold) to clear (warm) thermal packed with an ethereal emerald green glow and luminescent green-blue shifting flakes. It is definitely on the sheer side especially in the warm state, so you will need 3 coats. The flakies reflections are really magical. You will also need a good coat of top coat since the flakies tend to give a more rough finish. Remember to extend your shelf life on thermals, store them well sealed in a cool, dark location.
Woodsy, Wild & Lonesome is a deep aubergine purple base with a quirky olive-blue shifting multichrome, packed with silver holographic microglitter and holographic particles. Is is completely opaque in 2 coats (it is almost a one coater). It is really vampy but very still sophisticated, I love it!
This Freckled Witch is a red to greeny-copper multichrome packed with silver holographic glitters and holographic particles. This shade has ta pretty rought finish because of teh glitters but it will do well under a thick topcoat layer. The color shift is impressive, I never get tires of multichrome polishes!.
